At Mid Valley Megamall

Recently I was planning a date with my bf from JB.. And Mid Valley did come into the list. As I was planning the what-to-dos there, I realised that there isn't much to begin with except the usuals.. movies, McD. So, I was starting to contemplate on the uniqueness of Mid Valley.. I mean, there has to be a reason why the parking lots are never without a day goin "FULL". Hoho :D

Up-to-date, here's a list of things-to-do at Mid Valley Megamall :

1. Jusco's arcade
I completely missed this for the past 10years that I've had numerously visited Mid Valley! Situated on the 1st floor at the kid's apparell section, I've passed by this place frequently but just brushed it off as a kiddie's place. Oh, how wrong I was! Luckily my boyfriend from JB pulled me into this section. I called it a section because there's not much games in there but just enough to have fun! Plus, it's pretty cheap too. Most of the game machines accept only 1 token = RM1 for a game. This is definitely my highlight of my date in MidValley. Childish no? =D

2. Shihlin Taiwan
The XXL Crispy Chicken! It's huge and definitely worth buying..

3. Burger King
Hehe.. Probably had too much of McD that I'm siding Burger King now =)

4. Gelato Fruit
Yummy icecream dessert and affordable too~ generous range of flavours..

5. La Boheme & Cold Storage Bakery
Love them! Not too pricey and hmmm... good~~ (gardenia ad anyone?)

6. GSC Cinema
The place we go for undeniable entertainment. Gives student prices (RM7) for showtimes before 6pm on weekdays and non-public holidays. Don't forget your student ID though. Couple seats go for RM11 per person.

7. Bowling
Gives student prices too. Don't forget your socks! Entertainment with some exercising.

8. Shopping!
We are spoilt for choices for this one. Too many shops around~ :D

9. Starbucks and other cafes.
For Jusco cardmembers, do you know that they are giving 20% off on any beverage
at Starbucks? Chillin' & gossiping with your friends. As for me, I enjoy having peaceful
conversation with my bf. =)

10. Redbox.
Situated at 4th Floor of the Gardens. Great for loosening up and just have fun! Add a dinner buffet to fill up your stomach too. =) For rates, please click below.

after-degree enrichment programmes

Enrichment programmes are basically programmes that upgrades your curriculum vitae and make you more employable. With the economy crisis and low employablity we are facing right now, I think it's best to join them. Furthermore, these programmes provide you with basics and skills you need to have as an employee. These are the programmes that I plan to undertake after my degree..

1) Graduate Employability Management Scheme
This programme is under Khazanah Nasional. So, it ought to be good.
you can get infos n the online form at http://www.mygemsportal.com.my/.

2) Financial Sector Talent Enrichment Programme (fstep)
This programme is the brainchild of Malaysia's own bank governor. It's under bank negara.
I'll be aiming for this one. more info at http://www.fstep.org.my/

3) IMGLAD Employability Programme
Under Iskandar Malaysia and Deloitte Consulting.
I've read about the programme on their website and it does get me interested.
